Late 19th Century 45-Star American Flag workbench stool This vintage Oxweld Oxyacetylene torchc. 1890s 1900s The 45 star flag became the official United States flag in 1896. A star was added for the admission to the Union of Utah on January 4, 1896, ending the previous 44 star run. The 45 star flag was in use for 12 years, until 1908 with the addition of a star for the state of Oklahoma, admitted to the Union in 1907. Exhibits minor signs of wear consistent with age, and features a few small holes and is missing part of the upper right
