Rip/Cross/Dovetail Saw Knife Sharpening tool steelThis is a Rip Cross Dovetail Saw. It is designed for three types of cuts: rip, coss and dovetail. To facilitate cutting, each 9th tooth at the front and middle of the blade is a raker tooth intended to clear sawdust from the kerf. The teeth at the handle end of the blade are all crossut to ensure a smooth start to the cut. This saw is made by the Hishiki Saw factory using traditional techniques which include hand tempering, hand correction of blade
