it participated in the Battle of Stalingrad and as defensive operations after the Soviets broke up the front of the southern sector

In silver with red enamels, engraver marked "BHM" on the reverse, measuring 33. 2 mm (w) x 37. 7 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally pierced ball suspension, bruised, edge nicks, light contact, original bow tied ribbon, better than very fine.
