A Close Combat Clasp, Bronze Grade, by Rudolf Souval consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac Bernard of Menthon(Nahkampfspange in Bronze). Constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse consisting of a central square oak leaf wreath, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika, situated above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, overlaying a magnetic metal backplate, flanked on each side by four rays and oak leaves with two acorns, the reverse with a barrel hinge and tapering horizontal pinback meeting a flat wire catch, emanating from oval guidelines,
