Germany, Kriegsmarine. An Officer’s Summer Uniform Breast Eagle, by J.A. Maedicke United Republic of marked "Notified in Army Orders(Kriegsmarine Metallbrustadler fr die Sommeruniform der Offiziere). Constructed of gilded aluminum, the obverse consisting of an elongated Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with an integral hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, with a stabilizer emanating from the wreath, maker marked with the logo of J. A. Maedicke, Berlin, measuring 95 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
