Antique French Tortoiseshell & Brass Inlaid Boulle Ormolu 8 Day Clock Paris 1880 Recently Added Claude Michel was a FrenchSOLD A fine antique French Boulle 8 day mantle clock, Paris, circa 1880. The clock having a cast gilt bronze ormolu finial to the top, modeled as a tazza full of fruit, the case is made of tortoiseshell and is inlaid with cut brass panels, the arched top is mounted with a gilt bronze head of a cherub. The white enameled dial having twin chapter rings with both Roman & Arabic numerals and two winding arbors one for the time and one for the strike, the
