Place your iron with the base facing down and the iron will not smoke and the base will stay lubricated preventing any dry baked on wax build up. Additionally when the iron is base down on the mat, the iron is stable and safe. No more knocking your iron inadvertently onto the floor! For use with Toko irons only.
