This piece was given away as a subscriber gift by American Homes Illustrated, a homemaking periodical from the period. One year later, American Homes' publisher, Charles Taylor, became the publisher of what we now know as The Boston Globe. The print is housed in a varnished wooden frame with some notes regarding the piece adhered to the back
