A well preserved Reichskriegsflagge (National War Flag), consisting of a dyed red cotton blended cloth base securely reinforced along the edges with multiple rows of machine stitching, bearing double sided black and white Nordic Crosses overlaid by an off centre black mobile swastika, the hoist edge reinforced with a white cotton twill border with a hollow channel through which is looped an original rope culminating at each end
